Only two weeks into the Fall 2o20 semester, and Ohio Nu strikes already. Say hello to new brother Jacob Kjianski! Jacob became aware to Ohio Nu due to applying to the Balanced Man Scholarship offered to all incoming CSU freshmen. Jacob had this to say about joining, “Well to be completely honest, I never saw myself joining a fraternity. I started talking to Zach Harris [Ohio Nu Vice President of Recruitment] back in the Spring just really about the Balanced Man Scholarship. After staying in contact with him for the past few months and up until this point, my interest has constantly grown day in and day out. Zach described SigEp as “not your everyday movie type fraternity” and after meeting and talking to some of the guys before joining, I couldn’t agree more. It truly does feel like a brotherhood and a family oriented place. I have been invited out to a few events and have hung out and talked to some of the guys outside of chapter events, and they’re the same people inside the fraternity events as they are outside. I felt a part of the group before I was officially invited into the group. I can’t put into words how humbling it is to see how a huge group of guys can actually be family as I’ve seen just in these few days. I joined because the small experiences I’ve had with the chapter before joining just made me feel like I wanted to get the whole experience with everyone. After joining in just these few days, I already have made connections and friendships that I can’t wait to further build. I also am eager to see what the future of my membership in SigEp holds for me and my other incoming brothers and hopefully continue to keep the SigEp name an amazing name around campus because I know it’s the place for me.” Help to welcome in Jacob for his successful tenure in Ohio Nu.
