This past Saturday night, Ohio Nu threw an event, as planned by the current Vice President of Programming, to honor Brian Breittholz. Brian served as the Chapter Faculty Advisor as well as the Executive Director of the Alumni Association. He is near and dear to everyone at Ohio Nu since although he was not a SigEp, he almost felt like it with the way he cared and looked after the chapter. From his participation in the Balanced Man Scholarship banquets to reaching out to every new President to talk about their upcoming term, Brian paid attention to everything that went on in the chapter. However, he was recently let go, so the chapter did not want his exit to be sour. Jordyn Wheaton called up our alum Dave Huiett to organize the event for Brian. Once everything was planned, all the alum, current brothers, and people close to Brian were invited to celebrate his fantastic work and to wish him good luck in his future endeavors.

The event took place at Hofbrauhaus, and the best part is that all proceeds, and any donations made by alum, went to the charity SPE-LTD Endowed Scholarship in the CSU Foundation, as selected by Brian. It was a great night where people got to reminisce on Brian’s time and catch up. Everyone got to express their gratitude towards Brian, and thank him truly, which should be endlessly, for everything. So from everyone that has come and is in Ohio Nu, we all wish you the very best in the next chapter of your life, Brian, and we will never be able to express how much your service meant to us.
